Review after 1.5 years
After 1.5 years of having this, I feel compelled to write a review. We received it as a Christmas gift from our neighbor for our child so there’s not an incentive / whatever for this. The ball itself is incredibly sturdy, not cheap quality. The battery light lasted a decently long time - especially in FL heat. We played with the ball during the day as well so I’d say it lasted about 2.5 months of CONSTANT use. It was a bigger ball so easier for the parents hands vs little ones. When it was time to change the battery out - which *bonus* it gave an extra in the pack (!!!) - it was a little tricky because I didn’t want to damage the ball and wasn’t sure how much force to use. Note: you can use force and the ball won’t get a goose egg BUT you don’t need that much. We used a toddler butter knife to get under and noticed it did not damage the ball nor the plug to hide the battery. Easily able to be reinserted and no issues with the plug falling out. All in all, would definitely recommend it. I’m actually getting the soccer ball version for a gift. Make sure to have a pump to inflate. It’s fun and gets kids active with decent quality - so what more could you want?

No Girls Allowed?
This is being advertised as a gift for boys only. The sexism is appalling. Basketball is not a gendered sport. If the brand wants to sell its products, it should market its toys to all children.
