A: You can do dunk-like activities, but we don’t recommend any excessive dunking or hanging on the rim for your safety.

My son’s about 100 lbs, got a little too excited and dunked which caused the backboard to crack. I will be buying another one cause it’s fun for them to use indoor when going outside is not an option.

A: Rubber, I know this because I have one and it come deflated. But when I got it it felt oily so make sure to wash it outside or use a towel/napkin.

Best purchase for the money EVER
I got SO much value out of this hoop! I bought this for my son when he was 4, the back board finally gave way and cracked last night he is now 13! I will be purchasing another one immediately. He probably put in hundreds of hours shooting at and dunking on this in the last 9 years and it held up great!

We had a different one that we got off Amazon and it worked but ended up breaking after about a year. This one was on sale so gave it a shot. So happy we did! It’s sleek and nice looking. My 5 year old loves it. My favorite part is that even with it on his door, you can still completely shut the door. Unhappy customer
I ordered this for my grandson for Christmas. It went to the wrong house and I never got it. I re-ordered it for the 2nd time and the order was canceled by Target for some unknown reason. Only and only because he asked for this specifically and I don't have much extra time to be looking for a hoop so I ordered for the 3rd time and it was delivered in a wet box. Target offered ZERO for my inconvience and their errors. I will show them the same courtesy by not shopping there for a LONG time if ever. Excellent Customer service generate high revenue, in case Target don't know, you do now.

Wanted to love it
I really wanted to love it because my son really wanted this design indoor hoop. In the store it is $40 which is too much for this hoop compared to others. The biggest issue for me is that it makes too much noise. Even with padding behind it. It is noisy due to having one break away spring and being in the middle vs 2 springs. It rattles metal on metal 100% of the time.
