Spalding Momentous EZ Assembly 60" Acrylic Frame Pro Slam Basketball Hoop

Was so easy, my 13 year old did the majority by himself. The online videos were key for him. Took him roughly 1 hour. Have recommend to other families.

Took around 25 minutes to assemble, was by far the easiest set up of a portable basketball system that we’ve ever done. It’s not just easy to assemble but a very solid basketball system. We’ve had many neighbors inquire on where they can get one. My son has been playing on this hoop all summer and he loves it!

This goal is an amazing option as it’s way better than the entry level goals but way less expensive than a full on in ground high end system. The way it comes is genius as the main post fold up/out instead of having to navigate setting a post. The backboard gives the feel like you’re in an indoor gym! We project this goal is durable and will last for a long time. The instructions are printed but they also have a QR code that leads you to a visual demonstration for the main steps. Well done Spalding!

Was looking for an affordable goal that wouldn't be daunting to set up. After reading the reviews on the EZ assemble goals by spalding I was turned away. After doing more research on other goals I couldn't help but come back to this one. Everything about it besides the reviews seemed to check off all my boxes. The 60" backboard is great, especially for a portable hoop. Assembly was super quick, took about 30 minutes to set up. The quality so far after a week seems pretty durable. As for the reviews that turned me away, many said that the handle to raise/lower the goal was faulty. I can't speak to if it would break after raising and lowering a few times as I put mine straight to 10 foot and it will stay there. I did find that compared to in ground goals the mechanism that raises it does seem more fragile. I think that being gentle with the handle and taking the time while raising and lowering it will make a huge difference on how long it lasts. I imagine (as I have done this many times with different goals in the past) that the handle is being spun was to fast and aggressively. Just a guess. This goal is awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The easiest assembly I’ve experienced. Well done. Sone loves the backboard response. No issues at all putting it together with included instructions or the video available online. Longest step was breaking down the box.

I got my hoop and put it together it was super easy my 2 children helped. Once that was all over we played with it, a week later a storm came through knocking it over and it still came out perfectly fine . Very Durable Basketball Hoop !

I bought mine literally last night. Waited for the rain to pass before I set it up. Backboard cracked as I was putting on the rim. The guy who loaded in my vehicle dropped one end putting it into my truck and the box was pretty ripped, didn't think anything of it. Now I have a cracked up backboard right out of the b ox. Hoop seems amazing, wish we could of used it. Now the waiting game😪

Been in market searching for portable hoops. I finally made a right decision with this hoop. Easy to assemble, looks professional. Enjoy every moment of it. Best hoop on the market.

I live on a cul-de-sac and with my neighbors we have three basketball hoops. Once again, I was at work and it was a windy day. Whose fell down and broke? Mine.... Very frustrating after I spent hours putting sand in and making it was stable as possible.

Water all leaked out of base and then wind blew over the hoop and destroyed the rim

This hoop replaced my son's last hoop and I wanted to invest in another one that would last especially being outdoors. We love the handle to move the hoop up and down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is good for what it is and probably the best of the portable hoops out there. It was easy to set up and with cleaning everything up it was probably around an hour to set up. We had a couple of issues, the backside of backboard had a pretty significant white scuff on it and the film that covered the front was under the frame and hard to remove. Otherwise it’s good. I think they should provide base gel with these units in the future as well.

The product came well packaged, and there were no signs of obvious damage. All pieces were accounted for and clearly marked. Assembly was straightforward, with simple instructions. With two people working slowly and carefully, assembly took about 60 min, including unpacking and clean up. After filling with water, the system is heavy and difficult to move. It took three people to move it up the driveway. The design would be improved if there were four wheels with two that lock in place. The quality of the materials is excellent. There is very little shaking or wiggling in the backboard and rim. It's a very solid and sturdy build. The height adjustment takes a bit of time to crank to full, but since it's smooth with no set increments, it can easily accommodate any desired height. The clear backboard is wonderful, and has a nice rebound to it. It's size is also enviable for portable systems and doesn't feel small. The rim is also excellent quality and feels like you're playing on a professional court. The design would also be improved if the system could somehow fold down for storage, but that might be asking too much. Overall, I highly recommend this product.

The rotating lever came out. I can't adjust the height anymore.
