Foreland 6-Light Brushed Gold Linear Chandelier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re replacing and changing our dining room style to a sleek, modern look. This Chandelier is perfect for what we’re looking for. The quality of this light is great. Very esthetically pleasing. The lamp is big, pendants are big as well. This will definitely make a statement because of it’s style and quality. Installation process was easy as instructions are included. The light sconces are enclosed and focused downward, illuminating our dining table.

It wasn't the easiest thing to install - took about an hour, as there were many parts involved. The biggest downside for us, however, is that because there are no covers for the lightbulbs the lights end up being very bright which combined with the fact that it dangles quite low makes the lighting pretty uncomfortable for our eyes. (we used the shortest bars provided to hang it and they were still quite long) This would probably look great if we had high ceilings but we have standard-height ceilings so this doesn't work for our home.

This light fixture has a unique design that stands out from other linear chandeliers. This light fixture was easy to install and offers a variety of installation configurations including variable drop lengths and hinges to allow this light to even be installed on a slanted ceiling. The matte black color does show dust a bit more but is very easy to clean. The only issue I had with this chandelier was the light output. The light sconces are enclosed and focused downward so the ceiling doesn’t get illuminated very well. The table underneath is very bright but it makes the surrounding area in the room feel darker than a traditional light that points up. This matte black chandelier is a nice way to modernize and reinvent a kitchen or dining room. I have gotten a lot of compliments on its unique design and recommend it to anyone looking to update a linear light fixture.

However, upon installation, this light looks just as sunny as it does in the rendering. It has a high-quality black matte finish that really pulls in our desired styling of the room. It was easy to install, as we have installed light fixtures before. The best feature of this, in my opinion, is that it is dimmable!

The design is so pretty, and the color just brings it all together. It's super easy to install as well! It lights up the room amazing! It's elegant but not too showy this is a great piece for above a kitchen island so excited to put this up. I will be updating once it is up.
