Description
This freestanding batting cage encloses a 19.9 by 12 by 8.2 foot practice area so hit balls stay contained during solo swings, coached sessions, or machine fed pitching. Thick 30 ply knotted HDPE netting with a 1.73 inch mesh resists abrasion and tearing, and nylon reinforced edges help the net hold its shape through repeated impacts. A detachable opening in the netting lets a pitching machine feed balls into the cage without breaking down the whole structure, while long positioning ropes and ground stakes keep the frame taut in windy conditions. Powder coated steel tubing with arched supports and reinforced joints holds the cage steady during fast pitches and hard swings, and the structure works indoors or outdoors in backyards, gyms, or training facilities.
