Great value, good price. And it's in color.
Great book in color. The only workbook on the market that's in color. Kids raced through mostly just copying words without learning what they were, so you have to have them use the words in sentences or say them out loud otherwise the workbook alone is slow to get them to learn the language. In fact I just ordered the same book again to have them go back and redo for practice.

Not what I thought it would be
I'm not as big a fan as the previous reviewer. Most of the workbook is just pictures of something, the French word, the English pronunciation and lines for the child to write the word. Only roughly every fifth page is actual workbook stuff. In the "la famille" section, the pictures do not even make it clear what words means what and words usually written with the combined "oe" are not written that way. Some of the information in the "Did you know?" section is wrong too. French children do not start what Americans or Canadians would refer to as "Kindergarten" at the age of two or three. They start the equivalent of preschool.

great for english families learning french!
We are a homeschooling family living in QC and i was in search of a book that teaches the french language but has english phonetics ( so i am able to correctly pronounce the french words) and this is perfect! so glad i found it!
