GDFStudio Barton Modern 69" Wall Mounted Floating TV Stand, Black

Piece looks good, as pictured in the photos. LED feature looks good. However, I have a couple of major and a couple of minor CONS about this piece. 1. The depth is less than advertised. The details for the product say "Dimensions: 11.80 inches deep x 68.80 inches wide x 9.17 inches high". However, the depth is certainly not 11.8". It is 11 if I'm being generous. I wanted to fit my XBox in, which is slightly under 11". I even measured everything before ordering this online. It won't even close fully when my XBox goes in the compartment, even without attaching the power cord at the back. It is probably 11.8" outer dimension, and at least 1" is taken by the wooden panels front & back. 2. The comparment doors do not pull down completely flat even after assembling it properly. The metal rods provided are not long enough to let the front compartment door low enough to be flat as shown in the advertisement pictures. That's a shame and makes it harder to insert items. 3. While the LED lighting is a nice touch, connecting it to the given internal power cord (since it is powered by USB-A) is not the best design. You need to snake the wire over the top and insert it in through the only hole for wires in the middle. And, you need to make sure the power adapter is oriented right, if not the wire won't reach the connection; the switch for the light is too big to be inserted into the hole. 4. In general, I'm frustrated with the design because it doesn't allow easy placement of wires and electronics inside and be seamlessly connected. The power connection is only in the middle compartment and while there are holes at the back of each compartment, they may not be deep enough to push power cords through when the product is already wall mounted. Having openings to the neighboring comparments would have solved the issue, and been a step towards giving it a clean, "wireless" look. So this is also a major detail that was not considered well. On the whole, very mixed piece. I was excited by it but now realize it's not the most convenient. It still looks stable and sturdy and if you do not have big/long appliances that exceed 10" to be placed inside, it may work for you. I am considering returning it and since it is a wall-mounted piece, it makes disassembling and returning that much harder.
