Keys are not programmable, no software.

The item page Q&A states that this comes with downloadable software to program and customize each key, which is why I purchased it. Unfortunately, there is no software, and you're stuck with Cut Copy and Paste. Still a high quality item. Probably worth $10 but not more due to its limits.

Outemu Brown hotswappable

The unit I got has Outemu brown switches. They are hot-swappable with 3 pin switches. Note that the switches do need to clip into the top plate as the PCB is “loose” in the housing. Haven’t plugged it into my PC, so I don’t know about its functionality.

Not Mac Friendly

This device did not work w/a updated and current Apple desktop computer. Computer sees the device and is supplying it power, but no input from the device. Called tech support and they advised to return it for a refund. May have been just this particular device, but I'll pay more elsewhere for a device that works.

Great time saver

I’ve always been big on using keyboard shortcuts—they’re pretty much second nature at this point. But when I got this device, I noticed I wasn’t using them as much, mostly because my keyboard didn’t always pick them up right. The three-button hotkeys on this thing have been a total time-saver for me. I do a lot of copy-pasting for work, so having that quick access has made things way easier.

very cool

this is a pretty nifty invention and I use it alot more than I thought I would! very cool idea and it actually works! I am hoping they come out with other items that are similar in the future I really like this one

Distracting

Whoever thought having a keyboard that changes colors constantly would be helpful when someone is trying to concentrate on work should not be responsible for designing work products.

Fun little keyboard

These are so fun to use!! Unfortunately they don't work with Mac books. But with windows you just plug it on and they would work right away. I like that there's also cool lighting underneath the keys.

Pretty cool gadget

I was really curious about this product when it came in the mail. Very easy to set up and use probably not for everybody but I think a lot of people would really like it especially my mom. Also, if you’re doing a lot of cutting and pasting of data, it’s very helpful

Ok if needed.

A bit pointless if you ask me as holding down "Ctrl" plus whatever other key option is second nature to me by now. Also, it is not wireless so you need to use a port from your computer. Possibly dating myself, but computers and laptops do not have as many ports as they use to.

Helpful and sturdy keys

This would be great for someone who has to do a lot of repetitive tasks, such as using the same paragraphs over and over in email. The buttons are really sturdy and this is built to last and will hold up to many uses. The included USB cord is an added bonus.

Great productivity tool for both work and home use!

I am constantly using the shortucts on the traditional keyboard for cut, copy, and paste throughout my work day. I was constantly annoyed with my keyboard not picking up the shortcuts, this solves the problem since it works every time and makes me so much more productive. I also like the backlight for use when its dark or low light.

Handy

I would’ve never realized how handy this is until I tried it. I also like the material, ease to install and use. The bright light and nice color and to the entire experience and I really like that! Definitely recommend this product!
