GEMS E-Reader Decal Skin - Sea Shell: Abstract Pattern for Kindle Paperwhite

Went to remove it, was extremely stuck on the back. Had to ask someone stronger for help removing it. It also left sticky residue all over the back of it.

The Kindle decal skin comes in a vinyl adhesive skin for the 6.8 inch paperwhite Gen 11 version. The skin has a pearlized seashell finish. The skin is precise fit to the kindle with a adhesive back. What is included in the kit is a dry cloth, 1 front/back cut out decal skin. Be sure to use the cleaning cloth to completely clean off all areas front to back of the kindle.

Upon opening there was a distinct and overwhelming smell coming off of the vinyl. The adhesive is strong and held up to multiple attempts to line up the skin. It is definitely a wiggle and try your best situations as the proportions are weird (the spacing between the corners is just a touch too short so it you aren't able to line it up right with the edge of the screen like the packing and instructions show. But, once you get it mostly right it looks decent! Fair warning though, if you have a screen protector on and you try to pull it off to adjust it, the vinyl and screen protector will come off

I received this and put on my kindle. Never used a skin before but was happy to try it to add an extra protection and make it look good. It took me a couple try’s to get it on right but once on it looks good

My rating is mainly because it was a tad difficult trying to get it straight and it still didn’t seem like I did it good job. However, what made it a seven was more about the shining glare as that was quite distracting while reading. I think that if it was plain it wouldn’t distract so much.

Loving the iridescent pattern to this and that it includes a front and back wrap. The front wrap is like a frame and the back is like a skin. Cool idea and cute/trendy color pattern. Detailed instructions included.

I had high hopes, but this sticker just didn't work out for me. I tried every way possible to get the sticker to fit, but it just wouldn't. Aside from not fitting it smelled so bad, I'm not sure I wanted it on there even if it did fit. It smelled very chemically. Cute idea but just didn't worn out.

I like the pattern, and it definitely jazzes up the plain black kindle. I don’t love the thickness and adhesive. I think the material needs to be thinner for it to smoothly apply especially on the corners. However, I understand the thickness can assist with minor scratching. It just doesn’t sit perfect and I think with wear, the sides will peel up.

What a cool and useful little addition to anyone's Kindle Paperwhite, Gen 1 (6.8 inch). It has a front cut out adhesive decal, a back cut out adhesive decal, and even a cleaning cloth! The design is so cute with the pearlized seashell finish. It applies easily and is a great way to protect your device in a stylish fashion! Highly recommend!

This is a most beautiful decal skin with the various images of seashells. It will be a welcome addition to any e Reader and it will add the beauty of sea shells. It is made of quality material and comes very nicely packaged .

For some reason, the GEMS decal skin for the Kindle e-reader has a really strong chemical smell. It's not a pleasant smell at all. I have had the skin in for over a week and the smell is still there. I am going to have to get rid of it.
