Gillette Mach3 men's razor refills are designed for a classic close shave with comfort and precision. These three bladed razor refills for men are equipped with an upgraded lubrication strip that adds a smooth glide to your shave. The lubrication strip also fades when you are no longer getting an optimal shave. Designed for your comfort, the razor blade refills are equipped with a Microfin Guard that gently smooths your skin to prepare the hairs for a close shave. The Gillette Mach3 razor blade refills feature three stronger-than-steel blades and an Open Blade Architecture for easy rinsing to keep your razor blades clean and performing their best. New Lubrication Strips are AWFUL

These razors have been the ones I have used since I was 15 and started shaving. They were fine and lasted a few shaves up until the lubrication strip was 'upgraded' now they last not even one before just sliding around my face and not cutting the hair, while giving me atrocious razor burn. Bring back the old lubrication strips!

I have been using Gillette Mach3 blades for years, and purchased this version for the first time. The top part, which I believe is what is called the skin guard, makes shaving more tedious and the razor glide less. I also find the blade less easy to clear out between shaves.

However, we updated it to include more lubrication, so this isn't normal. If you aren't doing so already, for the best results, use warm water, a pre-shave, and shave against the growth of your hair. The new dark blue strip is terrible. Blades seem different too. Have been using for 20 years and never had ingrown hairs until this new style.

I have been using the Gillette Mach 3 blades for many many years and have noticed in the last year a significant quality reduction I am only able to get three or four shades before it is very uncomfortable to shave with this blade! I really only get a good clean shave the first two shaves!

This ibught when it first came ut it is also the one I used on my head andvwith fresh blades my intimate areas ir is by far one of the best blades I used until fusion5 came out with the swivel head but still use the mach3 on occasion been awhile but still have some new blades and handle it's usually the one I travel with the most

I’ve used these razors for several years.The last six months I’ve bought several packs of the replacement heads, your quality control went downhill considerably. A couple of times I put brand new blades on, and they are just rough as hell, seriously thinking of switching to another brand or something. Just getting tired of these not having sharp blades anymore, even right out the package. Used to be able to get several shaves out of one new head, but there’s been times I put a brand new ahead on and just throw it away cause it’s useless. Sincerely, long time user.

This was my favorite razor to use. They changed the lubricating strip on top of the blades. Quality has gone down and they increase the price. Shameless.

I have used Mach 3 for many years to shave my face and I agree with others who say the quality has gone down in the last few years. I find that the cartridges will not connect to the razor 45 percent of the time. I did get a refund for that once, but the new cartridges were no better; and yes, I did try a new handle and got the same results.

Deceptive title and description

The description on this product feels deceptive, promising one razor and two razor refill cartridges. It is actually just one handle and two razors, which I would call two razors total. It's still not a bad deal, but there's no need for them to do this other than to confuse potential buyers. They easily could make their packaging and title better represent what you get, but they decided not to, and that feels deceptive and doesn't leave buyers like me with a good feeling.

Upon opening this, I shaved one armpit. It took forever because the blade was so dull. It was worse than a disposable razor you'd used for a month. I switched to the second blade for the second armpit. Same story. I did an online return and was only credited $5.66 for a $9.99 product. What happened? Gillette used to be a reliable brand. Target used to be a reputable retailer.

Not the Same Blades - Dull Way Too Quickly

Over the past 6 months to a year, the blades are NOT the same blades that my husband had. I tried the blades my husband had and they worked well enough that I bought a Mach3 razor. Since buying new blades over the past 6 months to a year, the blades do NOT shave close to the skin, and go dull after 2 or 3 shaves. Although as a female, I'm shaving a lot more areas, the blades shouldn't dull after two shavings. The only thing I like is that the moisture strip doesn't get slimy like many other razor blades that have a moisture strip.
