Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Height

    Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.

  • Chest

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

It’s such a pretty cardigan, I wish it was longer. It’s cropped but the arm length is long. My daughter is petite the medium fit her arms a bit better and not swallowing her but it’s short. The large was way to big for the arm length but it fit better in the waist and less cropped. It did shrink a little in the dryer too. I have to use very low heat or sometimes air dry because my daughter loves this and wants to wear it all the time. Just wish it was longer.

I wouldnt purchase again

I got the size 6/7 for my 5 year old and the sweater itself is pretty cropped. Has to be worn with a shirt under it because even buttoned, is too low cut. The arms are like ten feet long and can’t be rolled because of the material, the sleeves unroll themselves in seconds. Material seems low quality like it won’t hold up well.

Sleeves long on XL

Sleeve length going from L to XL changes dramatically. Daughter loves this we sized down to L and it fit great. I chose too big because it’s pretty oversized and we sized down mainly due to the arm length.
