I don't love these greenbeans because most of the time they are slimy in the bag well before the expiration date. I am not sure if its the packaging or the green beans themselves, but I prefer to buy loose to avoid the slimeness in the bag

Really fresh when I buy green beans in a bag from Kroger/frys you have to be careful how fresh they are and you have to pick through them to make sure they’re fresh. Not these no waste I give them a good rinse then steam in a skillet about 6 minutes I like to keep some cooked beans in fridge for adding to lo mein or salads with red pepper or tomatoes cucumbers drizzle lemon juice salt pepper and target olive oil and that’s a Simon side salad, basically using up what’s in my veggie drawer. Very versatile

The quality of the green beans were surprisingly high! I don’t particularly like green beans and my partner is from the south with very high green bean expectations. I cut these in half to be shorter in length, put a little butter, 1/2 an onion and a spoonful of garlic to sauté in a pan then added the green beans and covered on med low for 10 min! Open lid, crank heat a couple min and squeezed some lemon and sprinkled some parm! Covered w heat off to allow cheese to melt while I finished other dishes. I highly recommend
