I purchased a gift card from Target as a gift, but unfortunately it could not be used. This was disappointing and inconvenient, especially since gift cards are meant to be a simple and reliable option. I expected a smoother experience and hope this issue can be addressed for future customers.

$100 Gift card have $0 balance
Brought a $100 gift card. When I use it It 5 minutes later. it have $0 balance. Discuss with supoort. They said the car is activated and there is nothing they can do about it. It's almost feel like the Target giftcard web site beeen hacked but no one knows it. Don't buy any gift card here.

I bought a $25 gift card and when I went to redeem it it says the balance is $0. When I tried to report an issue on target it says the return window has expired and doesn't give you any other options.

I bought a Grubhub gift card online as a gift for a friend who just had baby, but it never reached her. When I first bought it, it had to come to my email address. Fine. It arrived there, but when I used the option to forward it on to the recipient, the website told me it would show up in her inbox - but not for 2 more days! I was annoyed, but whatever. I gave her a heads up to look for it. Three days later, she called and told me it never arrived. I had the correct email address for her and entered it very carefully. When I went to the Target website to "fix the issue"section with this order, all the options were in pale font and the screen said there are no returns on gift cards. Also logging in was a pain. Next I tried a customer service chat and it had me at 13 in the queue. Who has time for that? Next I will be on the phone with customer service etc. and this is such a big hassle and the gift is so late now. I would not recommend. And when I reviewed the review guidelines, they only will post your review of the item not the other aspects of the purchase?! Well this is the product. It's a gift card that I can't gift.
