I bought it because the grandkids enjoy the board book . I returned it to the store; had I known an animal farting, with a gross illustration, was in the book, I would not have brought it home. Disappointed.

Not even close to the real Grumpy Monkey we know and love

This is so different than the original Grumpy Monkey which is a staple in our home. I was hoping for a condensed version of it (as it looks like on the cover) for a child to read on their own as they're learning. This one was different and also kind of crude. In the original the animals encourage Jim to get the grumpy's out doing other things, in here they're almost encouraging poor behavior. Disappointed especially as this was a gift so returned for the real Grumpy Monkey.
