Book Synopsis

Jim Panzee and his friends are having a picnic with lots of yummy things to eat, when Jim realizes he needs to go. But he's nowhere near home - and home is the only place he likes to go when nature calls.

Norman finds a tree Jim can go behind, but Jim disagrees: Too dirty! Porcupine shows Jim some rocks Jim can go behind, but Jim disagrees: Too smelly! Finally Jim finds the perfect spot but then ... he can't go. Nothing a little walk and fig can't fix. But now the perfect spot is taken!

Will Jim be able to hold it again until he finds the right spot at the right time? Or will Jim learn that sometimes trying to control both your body and your surroundings only leads to trouble...?

About the Author

MAX LANG is an animation director, storyboard artist, character designer, and illustrator. He co-directed the film adaptation of the picture book The Gruffalo, which was nominated for an Oscar and a BAFTA, as well as the Oscar-nominated adaptation of the picture book Room on the Broom, which has won numerous awards, including the Cristal for Best TV Production at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
