Not a book for complete beginners.

This book absolutely needs to go with the CD. It jumps straight into songs without telling you how to play them. The first lesson is strumming with a basic C and G7.... easy enough... then flip the page and play a song.. It shows you were that C that you just played is... but it's not the C you just learned how to play... that C is middle C. I'm assuming the book is fine, but you absolutely either need the CD that actually shows you how to play or put this book in the closet and save it for when you actually know what you're doing. I'll just get a For Dummies book instead, I guess.
