I bought these hand warmers for the sole purpose of putting them into my gloves while snow blowing around my property in temperatures below 20°. They did not work for me since when I put them into my gloves, I had to immediately take them out because the fit was very uncomfortable, and they hindered my ability to push my snowblower, in addition to being able to turn my snowblower's chute rotation handle.

Battery is pretty short-lived so be prepared to recharge it at night. However it works well and keeps the New York winter at bay.
