We love these. I specifically come to Target to buy Happy Egg Co eggs now, I can’t have any others! We love getting local eggs, but in the winter there’s not many and these are perfect. Flavor is much better than standard eggs.

Eggs past Best By date
The eggs that I picked up were thhree days out of date I am returning them. They should’ve already been pulled off the shelf. I ordered and picked these eggs up on September 27. I buy this item all the time and I’ve never received it out of date although I often get cracked eggs from rough handling.

Question on pale yellows
I'm concerned as to why the yolk has gotten to be a pale yellow. They used to be very orange but the past 3 months they've changed. What would cause this change?

Thank you for reaching out to us! In the shell formation process, the coloring pigment is the final layer the hen deposits on the shell before the final cuticle covering. Sometimes the cuticle does not stick properly to the eggshell and can get scratched off (or boiled off as in this case) and it takes some of the pigment with it. From our experience, the chances of this happening increase if vinegar is added to the water. Not to worry, as this only happens with very fresh eggs!

Big disappointment from previous purchases. I purchased 2 12 count cartons. Both have no orange or even deep gold yolks. I will be going back to Nellies.

There's no consistency in your eggs
The color in the yokes varies all over the place. The yokes in our current doz. are a sickly yellow, which does not meet what you advertise. I tried to use you contact us link, but it is poorly designed.
