This cabinet is stylish but not practical. Because you have to open the cabinet doors each time you need to get shoes out the doors wear very quickly and eventually begging to fall apart at the frame and the slats fall out - hassle. It would work better if the cabinet doors were sliders, or the kind they you open like a drawer.

Don’t wast your time and money! The smell from cabinet is so strong and one door is defective after spend two hours to built up.

I purchased this to go in a room that has three other pieces of espresso furniture in it. Unfortunately I received a black cabinet not the espresso I ordered. Because I also paid for assembly I did not catch the difference in the color until after it was almost put together. It would have been difficult to unassemble it and then return it. I will be very hesitant to order furniture from Target again unless I can pick it up at the store and open the package in their presence to verify it was what I ordered. At the same time it is a well built and sturdy cabinet. I am just not sure if I will ever use it anywhere other then the garage.

I would not buy this cabinet again. It is not as sturdy as other furniture I've purchased from Target. Like others have said, the assembly is more difficult than other furniture we have put together. The cabinet doors feel a little flimsy. We will keep it until we find something that has the same function, but better quality.

Okay, First of all the directions could of been better. The labeling of the parts also could of been better. The hardware could of been marked better. I have put kitchen island, bathroom storage cabinet and other things, but this one was the most difficult. But overall I like it and not all shoes fit, but that's okay, at least I got the ones I use most of the time off the floor.

HARD TO PUT TOGETHER. Doesn't fit most shoes with heels 2 1/2" + . Beautiful once built.

This is not for a beginner. I've put together a lot of furniture, but the first 2 steps took me 25 minutes because they're so unclear. It looks like it wants you to put pieces together that don't actually go together until later. Also, not all of the pieces were labeled and none of the hardware was labeled. All that being said, once I figured out the instructions, it was a relatively easy, if long, process. Took about 2 hours to put together. Looks AMAZING once done. It is much closer to a dark grey than espresso color. I got about 25 pairs of shoes in. However, the shelves are not adjustable so no boots and most booties don't fit.
