A top Minnesota pro for years, Feidt was also the game's first journalist, publishing a disc golf newsletter in 1981. Feidt's leadership, coupled with an active statewide club, firmly established Minnesota as an epicenter for the sport. Today, the state has almost as many disc golf courses as traditional golf courses. About the Author

Joe Feidt is Minnesota's original disc golf mover and shaker. He designed and installed several of the state's first courses, founded some of its first tournaments, and edited its first publications. A member of the World Disc Golf Hall of Fame, he lives in St. Paul, Minnesota.
