About the Author

Simon Akeroyd has written over thirty gardening books. His latest
book, Grow Your Groceries was a Sunday Times and Irish Times Top Ten Best Seller. He was previously a garden manager for the RHS and National Trust and was team leader of the Edibles Department at Wisley Gardens, where he experimented with how crops could be grown in tiny spaces. Simon also owned a drinks company called Yarde Wild winery in Devon, where he concocted both soft drinks and alcoholic ones from ingredients he had foraged or grown in his Flavour Garden.
