Best bacon I ever had!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this bacon! I love that this bacon is not too thick. I feel like thick bacon is chewy and this is perfect chew and crunch! The size of the bacon is also perfect- it's not too long. The price is affordable.

Great flavor, cooked up perfectly, and tasted delicious!

It had a great smoky, savory flavor and cooked up nicely with a good balance of crispy and tender. I also liked that it wasn't overly salty and added the perfect amount of flavor to my breakfast. What I liked: Great flavor, nice texture, cooked well, and paired perfectly with eggs. It's also versatile enough to use in sandwiches, burgers, or other meals. What I didn't like: Honestly, I didn't have anything I disliked about it. I really enjoyed the bacon and would definitely buy it again.

Great tasting!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as promotion. Tried this bacon as an alternative to our usual bacon. One thing I noticed was how much thicker the slices were. There were also more slices than our usual brand. I bake my bacon, I don't have time to pan fry and then clean up. So bake I go. This bacon took the usual amount of time. What got me was the taste! This bacon tastes amazing! The slices are thick, not scrawny like others. Cooked up quick and tasted amazing! Best part?! It's a considerable amount LESS than other brands but offer a fantastic taste! Sold!

Hormel Black Label for a superior breakfast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased Hormel meat previously, but I did not always chose those products over others. I though Hormel was "OK." Somehow calling it "Black Label" made me think that perhaps Hormel has upped their game and this might be a superior product. My thinking was correct - bought Hormel Black Label at my local grocery store and had it for a family breakfast over the weekend. I baked it in the oven on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil and put it on a paper towel to absorb any extra grease. The bacon cooked evenly and beautifully, leaving crisp but not too crisp thicker bacon. The bacon had a lovely taste and I really enjoyed this brand and will go back to it for my next purchase. I would recommend this bacon over others, and the cost is a little better than other "premium" brands that do not always taste as good as the Hormel did.

Flavorful and crispy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hormel's Black Label original bacon is fresh, never frozen, and delivers great taste and perfect crispness. I cooked most of this bacon in the oven, but also cooked a few pieces on the stove. Both ways, this bacon came out crisp and flavorful. I used it for breakfast, for a BLT, and for a bacon, chicken ranch wrap. All were amazing! My other feedback is that I wish they would cut the slices a little bigger, but otherwise, high praise. The only negative part of this bacon was finding it. My local grocery stores didn't have it readily available. I finally found it at our HyVee. I received this free in exchange for my review.

Dependable bacon

Love the size and not too fatty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this bacon because it was not super long (so it fits nicely in a standard frying pan) and the flavor was not overly salty. It also did not release a ton of grease which is great because I regularly set off my smoke detectors when I make bacon. Today, there was not smoke to combat! It didn't quite crisp up to my liking but the taste was very good and I enjoyed a lovely Sunday breakfast with this product. Would buy again!

Breakfast of Champs!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Saturdays are for late morning breakfast! What better way to add to a side of pancakes but Hormel's bacon? We cooked the bacon on our Blackstone and it crisped up nicely. Once it got off the Blackstone it was flying off the plate before the pancakes were even done! The bacon gives it a nice salty savory crunch that pairs well with sweet blueberry syrupy pancakes! I was hoping to have some leftover to make BLT's later, but the bacon was gone within 5 minutes! Hormel gave me this product for free to review, and it lives up to the hype!

This is one of my favorite bacon brands.

It is delicious just by itself. I love it on a BLT, on a salad it can be the star. It is great as a side for breakfast. Crumble it in a casserole or wrap it around a meatloaf. Want a delicious party bite wrap it around a meatball!!

Crispy and flavorful

Game. Changer. The Hormel Black Label Original Bacon came out light and crispy with no splatter. I love that it doesn't have a lot of extra fat, but is still so flavorful.

Very good!

My only complaint is that the slices weren't evenly sliced. Some were thicker than others. Otherwise this bacon is excellent alone or in a recipe! Highly recommended!
