This bacon is so tasty. We tend to buy precooked, as a time saver. It is so worth taking the time to actually cook it ourselves, even if I cook it in the microwave. The sign that it is so good,; it lasted less than a week. Next time, I will get two packages.

Yikes. I’ve never had to think about what raw bacon should look like before opening this package. Surely, I thought, this can’t all be fat over here and this tiny sliver over here is meat? I now know for sure that bacon shouldn’t look like mine does because I couldn’t even use the last slices in the package, they fell apart when I tried to separate them. Would not recommend

I used to be pleased with Hormel black label bacon but something went horribly wrong with this last package. Like another reviewer said, it was thick and rubbery and difficult to chew. I couldn’t get it to crisp up for my recipe and although it was fatty, the fat never broke down into bacon grease. It was dry when frying like turkey bacon. It was unappetizing and didn’t seem like pork bacon. Going with another brand next time.

I wish I could give zero stars. I bought this for Father’s Day breakfast and I don’t know what it was but as soon as it starting cooking the smell was awful!!! It smelled like strong chemicals and anything but bacon. I threw it all away I refused to feed that to my family. Maybe it was a bad pack but it was disgusting. I’ll never buy this bacon again.
