[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For grocery store bacon, Hormel continues to be a top choice. Acceptable amount of fat in the package. Rich, salty, and cooks up perfectly crispy. No sulfur taste thst many brands have. Very happy with quality.

We cooked it in the microwave side-by-side another famous brand; the Black Label is the longer pieces. The other brand wasn't a fresh package so that explains the difference in color. This brand took longer to cook, which was fine, we had to remove the other brand to avoid overcooking those pieces. Once cooked the pieces were still larger than the other brand and a bit sweeter. I always thought all regular bacon tasted the same. Nope, this one has a bit of a sweet taste. I really enjoyed it. I would buy it again.

There are not many companies out there that do bacon as well as this. I have also purchased other flavors and they have been fantastic in the past. This product was received for free from Bzz Agent.

I chose this Hormel product at my local retail grocer where the selection was highly varied with other flavors. Upon opening the product, I first noticed the evenly sliced bacon appeared very fresh and appealing. This immediately made me want to try a new cooking method for my household bacon use. I prepared a baking sheet with a drain rack and laid the slices out for oven baking. At a temperature of 350°, until desired doneness occurs, I cooked the bacon for approximately 15 minutes. The Hormel Black Label bacon baked beautifully with each slice remaining lengthy, crisp and delicious! The Hormel bacon made wonderful, easy to eat protein snack and we will definitely be purchasing this delicious product again. It's our new favorite stand alone protein snack!

We end up having it with eggs, on BLTS, or an additive for cooking dinner with added flavor. The bacon is easy to cook sliced in the pan, diced with seasonings, or in the air fryer. It's a good quality bacon that doesn't tear when you pull it apart. It is well flavored and tastes delicious.

My family loved the rich flavor and that the pieces stayed true to size and had a lot of meat on them. I loved the Applewood flavor and will be purchasing this again. It was worth the price.

We buy all kinds of different ones when on sale but i tell you typically with Hormel you know what you are going to get every time. We tried this particular kind as part of promotion but we were excited to learn we got a good quality bacon. Kids and wife approved.

I found that it didn't get as crispy as I like it and I cooked it the same way I always cook bacon. But that could be because it was thick cut. That was not a deal breaker though, the smoky flavor was so good, perfect for sandwiches. I will be repurchasing this bacon for sure.
