[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The calendar box was very sturdily made, albeit a little too sturdy for a six year old. My grandson had issues pulling the parts out on each day since they was very snug in the container. That did not stop him from having a great time zooming the cars and setting up the gingerbread house. He had several fun cars to choose from, even a car with a snowman driver. The "set" pieces that included reindeer and a sled added to his excitement.

The calendar surprises consist of 10 hot wheel cars and then accessories to go with the cars. My son loves this calendar and is so excited each morning to open up the surprise for the day. If you have a Hot Wheels fan at home this is a great advent calendar for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys are 7 and 9, so hot wheels are still played with occasionally, though less than when they were younger. I liked the idea of an Advent calendar that has hot wheels because it's such a versatile and classic toy. You can play with them anywhere and they travel well for holidays not at home. There are 10 cars in this Advent calendar, which is great at 5 cars per kid to share. I wasn't a huge fan of all the accessories. They felt cheap and gimmicky, but that would probably still have worked fine with younger kids. Mine are old enough that just 24 days of cars would have been their preference, and parents also might prefer less of what I think of as landfill toys that will just be thrown away after a few months.

They love the car attachments and the gingerbread person. They have so much fun with this, I wish it had a bigger track but it works conveiently.

Some items were cars and some items were accessories. The cover of the box folds down to reveal a magical Christmas display with a track. The cars he received were all unique and he couldn’t wait to open a door each day to reveal what was inside. This was a nice addition to his huge Hot Wheels collection.

It was like unwrapping a bunch of different gifts for him. He is very much into hot wheels and he liked the fact that they were Christmas themed with gift boxes and reindeer’s included for him to play with. They even have Santa hats that connect to the cars. Overall a great and engaging product.

I, as their mom, am impressed with the amazing quality of the toys, knowing that they won't break instantly. My boys are having such fun playing with all the cars and accessories. Each window had something valuable so no disappointments for little kids. And now a few days later they are still keeping busy with all the toys they got.

Once we opened it there was a race track at the bottom. The items are well-made they are fun and easy to play with for little hands. My three year-old is having a blast. Can't wait to purchase other ones in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun, improved Hot Wheels advent calendar! Carefully fold open the lid, and that will get you to the 24 doors. Note that this calendar comes with 10 cars, which is more than in previous versions. The other days have little toy items, many of which attach to the cars, including lots of wreaths, two reindeer and a harness, and a blue crazy monster. Most of the toys hook onto a pair of wheels, which might not be obvious (but is shown in small pictures on the box). The gifts are nicely arranged: two cars at the beginning, alternating cars and toys, and then a special snowman-in-a-sleigh car (Sleighn' Rubber) on the 24th day.

It comes with 10 Hot Wheels cars and lots of fun holiday-themed accessories. The cars are great quality, as expected from Hot Wheels, and the extra pieces, like the snowman and sled will add a nice festive touch. Even though we didn’t open it day-by-day, it was fun to open and play with all at once. It’s cool holiday set for any Hot Wheels fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is obsessed with advent calendars so even though it’s nowhere near Christmas, we got this calendar and used it as an opportunity to practice his numbers (he’s in pre k). I had him look for the doors with the numbers that he already knew (which was great since this calendar didn’t put them in sequential order so he actually got to hunt for numbers and work on number recognition). And then I helped him to look for numbers he doesn’t recognize as easily written by showing him examples and having him hunt. He was so excited with this activity! The track for this was a bit disappointing but there were some interesting car decorations. Also he loved the abominable snowman that holds a car! Another favorite here was the snowman car. Overall this set is pretty standard to most advent calendars and he did lose interest fast but we tend to have that issue with all of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is almost four years old. She loves Hotwheels cars and this was such a treat for her to test out! I helped her open each door of the cardboard box that the toys came in. I wish the numbers on the Advent Calendar were in order but I think it was designed out of order because of how each toy fits in the box, so I understand. It was just a bit difficult to find some of the numbers. The cars were exciting and very good quality. Some toys were confusing on certain days. There were a lot of plastic pieces that we assumed fastened to the cars in some way and so we figured it out, but they didn’t seem to have a great purpose. She ended up opening all of the toys after the third day because we were so confused with that plastic piece she opened and she wanted to figure out what its purpose was. I might have had her wait if we weren’t testing the toy and on a time crunch. I appreciated the thought behind the cardboard design on the back of the box so that it could be set up as a race track stand but I didn’t realize that until too late and the directions were way too small with only a photo and no words. I think there needed to be some general paper directions for the entire toy anyway. Overall, my daughter really enjoyed this Hotwheels Advent Calendar and it kept her interest for one whole hour. I would recommend it to friends. I think there is room for improvement with instructions and design.
