A: Each individual tray measures 12 inches in length, 4 inches in width, and 3 inches in height. The 4-inch width refers specifically to the width of a single tray. When you purchase the 2-pack, you'll receive two separate trays, each with these same dimensions.

A: Unsure as to where you thought it said the dims were 6x6. The Target website states overall dims 12"l x 4"w x 3"h.
Fit perfectly in our dresser drawers that are on the short side as they are part of a changing table set up. Sturdy high quality for the price. Exactly what we were looking for to organize socks, bibs, pacifiers, creams, and various other small baby items

Beautiful, but a strong chemical odor
I absolutely love these boxes. I bought both sets that pair with it. They are a beautiful, contemporary gray color and very sturdy as one reviewer mentioned. However, there is a terrible chemical smell that I’m currently researching on how to get rid of bc I like too much to return. I leave the drawer open hoping it will subside, but it’s been about a week or more and it’s still strong especially if I close the drawer and later return it. That’s my only issue I wish could be resolved.

Great drawer organizer!
These are very sturdy and perfectly sized for my dresser (just by chance, I didn’t measure ahead of time!).

These are not 6 inches wide, beware. They are 4 1/8 inches wide

Not sure why you thought they were 6"wide the Target website gives the dims and they do not state 6".
