The bottle has the same elegant look as the other “Bottled” flankers. The scent dries down into a smooth and balanced clean dark wood smell. The scent lasts a full work day and then some. You can get 9 hours easy. The complexity of the scent is also what allures me personally. I can’t get enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hugo Boss cologne may be one of my favorites I’ve ever had. Really heavy mandarin smell, which is incredible. The base notes of cedarwood and leather are great too. This is a smaller bottle, which I find really nice and easy to travel with. You really only need one spritz of this to last you all evening. It’s a really good summer scent with the citrusy smell.

I prefer it on my arms and chest. It is strong at first but finishes into a moderately strong scent. Atomizer is a 6 out of 10 short spritz with a good spread. Overall 6.9 out 10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another great launch from Hugo Boss. The perfume is pretty versatile and can be worn on a daily basis to special occasions. A very public pleasing DNA with top notes of mandarin, incense and a woody leathery dry down. The performance is pretty good, 4-6 h on my skin with at least an arm’s length sillage for the first 2-3 h. The scent profile makes it a great wear for all seasons. Overall it’s a great perfume that can be added to the collection for regular wear.

Maybe it’s partly due to the Texas heat, but I couldn’t find an occasion or setting where this scent would be appropriate. To my nose it gives off an unpleasant dark woody smell, almost like cheap oud, old leather, and a slightly animalic undertone that I couldn’t shake off. Instead of smelling refined or classy, it came across dated, heavy and difficult to wear. As for performance, both longevity and sillage are pretty average for the price point especially a designer fragrance. It meets expectations but doesn’t exceed them by any way. Unfortunately, even decent performance isn’t enough to make up for a scent profile that I simply don’t enjoy. Overall, not something i would personally recommend.

Although it isn’t for me, necessarily, I would imagine that there will be a lot of people who like it, especially if you love a leather dry down that’s balanced.

It’s definitely best suited for fall and winter, as it’s a heavy leather forward fragrance, warm to hot months would absolutely choke you out. The performance it’s amazing. This one is a date night type of scent. You can’t go wrong.
