HyperX Alloy Rise - Gaming Keyboards

Listen its built well, but its unusable as a keyboard. RMA'd switches for chattering and they sent me a whole box - I think they knew. I've boxed it up and its in the closet to be donated. I had issues with chatter on the switches as well as sometimes shift, ctrl, and windows key would just get... stuck? and then not respond. It'd be okay after a restart/factory reset but would return within 15 minutes. I'm sad because I've always bought hyperx. I guess I'm team glorious now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the tactile dial for volume, design is sturdy with weight to it. RGB colors are vibrant and beautiful. Con: It’s not wireless so cord gets in the way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having this keyboard for a month, it is genuinely an amazing keyboard. The base keys are not very loud (if you prefer that), and I love the sound when you press the space bar. However, if you prefer something different, the keys are hot swappable. You can always just pop some HyperX tactile switches for something different. The keyboard also has a magnetic cover that can help spice things up in the future if you get bored of the current color that you have. HyperX currently has white and navy covers, which I’m hoping that they add like a dark grey in the future. The little magnetic cover is also customizable. It is pretty fun to fidget with that little piece, just taking it off and putting it back on. HyperX sells different ones in packs of four just in case you lose one while playing with them. The HyperX NGENUITY software to customize the LED of the keyboard is decent, since not much could be done with just a keyboard, however the thing I found cool is that it could be in sync with your other HyperX equipment.

The ergonomic design helps when playing games and I love the sound of typing on it. Overall extremely durable and just overall incredible keyboard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this keyboard over the past few days, and I gotta say that I'm beyond impressed. The keyboard has great weight to it, which is nice. The RGB lighting is great with side lights also on the keyboarded. The keyboard being mechanical lends to the keys having great response along with the nice sounding click from each key. What makes this keyboard truly great is the customization that is available. The top plate that is included is black, but HyperX offers a white and blue plate available on their website. They keys can be switched out along with a metal plate on the side. Any gamer would be happy being the cost of this keyboard for the quality you are getting!
