I purchased this item 05/27/2024, today is 08/06/2024 and not even a full 3 months out of the box and this keyboard has already started to malfunction sadly, mostly dead clicks and double clicks. It takes 3-5 attempts of pressing a key for it to actually work. the main keys I struggle with are 'S' 'i' 'F' 'D' and even the space bar, it took me many attempts to even write this out, I have tried razers recommended cleaning tips with isopropyl alchol, microfibre cloth, compressed air, reinstalling drivers, updating synapes, it seems to be a keyboard issue and for $129.99 that is not right, I had the original blackwidow chroma from razer for 10 years, this keyboard already malfunctioning not even 3 months in is horrible. please do some extensive research on this keyboard before buying, I will no longer be buying razer products anymore sadly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Razer Blackwidow V4 X Full size wired Mechanical green switch gaming keyboard with chroma RGB lighting from Razer and Influenster for my honest review. I am going to start off by saying I am not a gamer, but my husband is. I gave this to him and he loves it. He’s been using it for a couple of weeks now playing Fallout and says it is a huge upgrade to what he was using. You have the ability to set up macro and media key’s if you prefer. He did say that the keys are a bit loud but that’s one of the benefits of this keyboard it’s supposed to provide tactile feedback. It also has customizable per key lighting. The only draw back is that if you don’t have the lights on in the keyboard it’s hard to see what the keys are. He did say he believes that this is more of an app issue than the keyboard itself. He has had no problems with keys sticking or any issues with it not recognizing him pressing keys. All in all he says this is a great keyboard and would definitely recommend it to other gamers.

The colors are fun and when it lights up in a dark room it makes the gaming experience even better. I don’t like how loud it is when you use it though. It’s a very loud clacking noise. Additionally, I can see this thing getting dirty very quickly with how high up the keys are from the board itself.

They feel very precise and have no lag time. The macro keys, key lighting, and Razer Synapse allow you to customize it to fit your needs. Love the magnetic wrist rest, the click sound is a little too loud though, still need some time to get used to it because i'm using a silent keyboard.

It’s not only great for gaming, but It’s also great for work as well. Setup was pretty easy and I like the option of being able to assign different keys. I’m not used to using the Macro keys, but I’m sure over time it’ll get easier. I also love the lighting on the keyboard and so do my kids! The one thing I’m not super fond of is how loud the keys are when you type. Since I’m using this keyboard for work also, I really notice the difference in loudness from typing on this keyboard to my other one. I do have to say though, this keyboard responds much quicker than my old keyboard did. Overall, I think it’s a great keyboard and my kids and I look forward to using it for gaming and for work as well!

The cord is wrapped in cord so it is also very flexible and durable the keys are very loud and deep pressing keys. I haven’t used them yet but there are multiple programmable keys, the lights are a cool effect especially equalizing when you play music. The volume control is the cool scrolling function on the top right.
