Book Synopsis

Using a well-conceived incident response plan in the aftermath of an online security breach enables your team to identify attackers and learn how they operate. • Practical application: Walk through the intelligence-driven incident response (IDIR) process using the F3EAD process: Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze, and Disseminate

This book has a lot of overlap with the SANS GCTI course. If you’re interested in learning the content of the GCTI but can’t get your company to pay for it - I super recommend this book. This shouldn’t be surprising as some of the course authors, authored this book!
