The plastic threading immediately stripped through on the first use, meaning the support screws just slid out and offered no support to the tree. Very cheaply made, pay a little more to get something that will actually work.

This past year my christmas tree stand broke and I needed a last minute tree stand considering I only noticed my old one was cracked after the tree was up, decorated and filled with water. After realizing that I needed a new stand fast because water was leaking everywhere this was the only one I could find local that I could get instore. It was a life savor and turned out to be really steardy.

I took away 2 stars because it was missing one of the square bolts that’s required to put in plastic stand. I didn’t realize it was missing a part until I had my tree home and opened the tree stand parts. No time to take it back at that point in time. Other than that it’s really a sturdy stand and easy to assemble……a great update to the older style one with the metal legs.

Very good stand. Holds about the recommended one gallon water. One draw back: minimum tree diameter not mentioned in the specs. No suggestions for smaller trees (e.g., carpenter's shims or refit with longer screws).
