The puff was very fresh and as long as you follow the directions, it should have flaky layers and I made mine a little more well done so it was crispy on the edges. You won’t regret using this in your recipes!

I used an egg and crunchy sugar for the edges to seal all the flavor into a pocket. While I had it sealed in bag in fridge it didn't cause any issues unraveling when I needed it. Its very flakey and works with all recipes.

I was so excited about these just roll, puff pastries that I could not wait. The packaging was right so it was easy to find inside of the store and they were good on money. They were fresh and flavorful and the texture was quite pleasing. I’ve also bought the gluten-free kind for my daughter who has silly egg and those were great as well.

Not gonna lie, I was a little intimidated to work with puff pastry- it always just looks so pretty and complex, and I didn't grow up in a household that really used it, so I didn't have any idea of what to create at first. To my surprise, it was actually super simple and easy to use. As far as this brand goes, it was easy to find in the store with the packaging, the instructions were simple, and I liked that it was already rolled and all I had to do was unroll it to start my new recipe off on the right foot. I made the viral upside down onion puff pastry treats with cream cheese, spices, honey, and balsamic vinegar. I initially tried this product out, looking at it as more of a challenge or an area I can grow. But thanks so much for making it so easy- now I'll definitely buy it for future recipes. It rose pretty high and was light and airy. And while it was a little flaky, it wasn't annoyingly flaky where I thought I was about to lose half of my snack on my plate lol!
