Kärcher K1700 Electric Pressure Washer, 1700 PSI, 1.2 GPM, CETA Certified

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This K1700 Pressure washer can be added to the list of things I wanted but never knew I NEEDED until now! I have been trying to learn how to take care of plants this year but making a huge mess on the patio in the process. Trying to sweep up all of the overflowed soil has been taxing on my back and so time consuming in the Arizona heat! I was so excited when I got this power washer in to try! To begin with, it was very easy to set up though I will say that the instructions were a bit lacking in images that were comprehensible and some of the information was not in there such as when attaching the hose that one portion turns to the right while the other is to the left. I have since been told that is common with those types of pressure attachments but it would be very helpful for those of us who haven’t set them up before to know! A large, obvious QR code etc to a set up video may be beneficial. Other than that, set up was a breeze, taking maybe 10 minutes. I love that the unit is so compact and condensed with a spot for each attachment, keeping everything together which makes it so much easier to use and to not lose parts. The various attachments allow for so much versatility and are such a useful and functional attribute. I love how they cover everything from a focused stream to a widespread arc and even a scrubbing feature to use with soap! I can’t wait to use this on my car when it is a bit cooler out. Right now as it is summer, most of us only venture out doors at night in AZ other than to and from our vehicles, hence why some of my images are a bit dark. I was able to clean the patio off in less than 10 minutes, which is quite impressive with all of the dirt and debris that was on there! In addition, it was fairly quiet, no disturbing the neighbors! As a small framed person, I found this washer ultra light and portable, eve more so with the wheels. The cords neatly wrap in place and everything does what it should do with precision! I would highly recommend one of these pressure washers and am now obsessed with how easily I can get things clean!! (Though I don’t have one, I imagine this scene: Cue vintage TV commercial: “If only it cleaned my husband!”)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Karcher pressure washer really packs a punch. For a smaller, lightweight product, it really gets the job done. We recently needed to restain our dock and this came in so handy for pressure washing before we had to apply the stain. It was easy to set up and got all the dirt and grime off the wood. We would highly recommend for any household project.

The dock had so much built up grime but it was easily blasted away and left the wood looking close to new. The whole thing is lightweight and to my surprise the handle is easy to hold down even with arthritic hands. Found it helpful that the power cord is very long.

It has more than adequate psi for common around the house cleaning projects. The included turbo nozzle made quick work of our dirty driveway! The on/off foot switch is one of my favorite features. It is lightweight and powerful and has definitely made cleaning tasks less mundane! Would highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Karcher K1700 Electric Pressure Washer 1700 PSI TruPressure works great if you take your time. You have to wash your vehicle at a slow pace if, like us, you have built up dust and mud from driving on a gravel road daily. I used the soap tip first (obviously) and it puts out a lot of soap all at once so I had to quickly soap the entire car before my soap ran out. Next I tried the spray tip. It really doesn’t have a very wide spray pattern so you have to get the nozzle very close to your vehicle to get off any dried-on dirt. The turbo nozzle, to me, doesn’t have any extra pressure or spray velocity than the yellow spray tip. It does its job to getting dirt and build-up off the hood, but we ended up switching back to the yellow spray tip to wash the entirety of the car. I like that the Karcher K1700 Electric Pressure Washer 1700 PSI TruPressure has wheels, making it easy to move and maneuver as I wash my vehicle. As for the noise level, it’s not overly loud, but it’s definitely not quite either. I would recommend this pressure washer, even if you have to go slow to ensure an even and complete wash.

But my house has been in dire need of a good pressure washing, so I had to jump at this offer. For the most part, this was somewhat easy to put together without using any directions but thankfully there are some pretty extensive directions included. It was pretty difficult to get the pusher/handle part on, I actually even cut up my hands trying to force it on. I had to ask a delivery driver who just happened to show up at that moment to help me get it on, and even he had trouble! I don’t know if they’re typically like that, or if mine was just a bit warped or something. So far it has either been overwhelmingly hot out or pouring rain, so I’ve only been able to test this machine out briefly. I tested this out on the side of my house, and it’s actually pretty easy to use once you figure it out. It’s SO satisfying watching the dirt just splash away off of the side of my house. I have never used a pressure washer before, and I wish I didn’t wait. The pressure on this is impressive!

It took maybe 3 minutes to put the wheels, handle, and hose assembly on. It's fairly quiet too compared to others I've used in the past. Great for them small do it yourself jobs like cleaning sidewalks, decks, and even siding! It's Also small enough for easy storage and lightweight!

The K1700 is great for LIGHT duty, as its not built for heavy duty applications. I needed a light duty machine for general cleaning & car washing. Using my 4000psi machine is too much for light jobs, even when throttling the engine down to an idle. I haven't had an issue with the wand or hose & if I do, they are easily replaceable; available from a well known tool supplier (no, not that freight place but the North place). The hose & gun are fitted w/M22 fittings and replacement/additional are widely available. I've used my 50ft hose w/o problems. Haven't tried the 100ft but I'm sure it'll work just fine. M22 couplers are also an option, it mates two hoses together for even added distance w/o having to buy an expensive 100ft hose. On a side note (an example of durability), I have a Karcher 2400psi gun that I've had for over 15yrs that I use on my 4000psi machine and it handles the pressure w/o issues. I've worn out many nozzles on that gun, so I would say the gun is close to being bullet-proof. The Karcher machine that it went to died (the pump froze one winter), so I rebuilt the cart into a CAT4000psi, 20hp Honda gas powered beast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to set up and use. The unit is fairly quiet when running. It was a pretty long power cable and the hose is decent length but could be longer. I may buy a longer hose for it. Over it’s getting the job done.

I've now had the chance to use this to clean the bugs off my car several times, living on back country roads one gets a lot. The size an light weight make for easy use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little hesitant about this power washer at first because I have one and I don’t like it one bit. But this one is “wow”. I love the different nozzle options. It was strong enough to make my sidewalk look cleaner. This was also fairly easy to put together. The only problem I have is the water leaking where the hose connects to the machine.

It took roughly 5 minutes to set up and required no tools.. which I thought was pretty cool. It is lightweight and easy to pick up or roll around being only 20 pounds. The machine itself seems durable and made well. I used the turbo nozzle to clean the siding of my home which was pretty bad and it worked very well. I used another nozzle to clean my car which made car washing fun and much faster. When it was time to put away.. I liked that the hose can be wrapped up nicely and kept inside the storage bin along with all the other accessories so everything can be all in one place. The porch and driveway are next on my to do list!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is powerfully. I used it to clean my sidewalks and my car and it worked amazing. The wheels really helped moving around so much easier. The only thing is I had to buy a part for it to work but other than that 10/10
