Fall protection is wild
I don’t typically write reviews. But last weekend I went to King’s Island and while getting off the very first ride of the day, the Orion, my phone fell from my pocket, slid between the seats and bounced off the cart behind us to ultimately go free falling to the ground. I’m not sure the height it fell, but it was from the ride station. I thought for sure it would be a goner. I just got it back in the mail today and there’s zero damage to it. The camera still works. The screen isn’t cracked. The case isn’t even cracked or damaged. I know it fell because I was able to track the location with my friend who has my location. I also was able to retrieve a couple items that fell out with it before they too were lost to the depths. It rained off and on that whole day and overnight. The phone was retrieved sometime in the evening on the next day, and I simply can’t say enough good things about this case.

Decent case but beware of "Early Yellowing"
Love the look of this case and it does a good job of protecting my phone, but I got it in December of 2025, and now as I’m writing this in March of 2026, it already has significant yellowing. I take good care of my stuff, I wipe my phone and case off with screen cleaner daily, and for a $55 case to yellow within 2-3 months is disappointing. I know this is common problem with clear cases - but I’ve gotten other cheaper clear cases and experienced yellowing like this around a year after constantly having it on. It’s a fine case for short term use.

Cute cute cute
Very cute case. I’ve dropped my phone twice from getting in and out of my car and the most I’ve seen is a little scuff on the corner of the case very minimal. I’ve only had it a few weeks so it’s still clear. I’m worried about it turning yellow, but we’ll see with time. So far so good again I would definitely re-buy. I wish it wasn’t as expensive but it is Kate Spade.

I absolutely love my Kate Spade tortoise-shell case. It’s honestly the perfect mix of classy and cute. The pattern looks so chic in person it has that glossy finish that makes it look expensive without actually being expensive. The case feels sturdy too, like it actually protects my phone without making it bulky. I’ve already dropped my phone a couple times (lol) and it held up perfectly.
