Not too big or heavy. The front pockets are perfect for keys (no more digging through the main section), a small wallet/ID card holder, and even my phone when I'll need to hear it. Inside pockets keep me organized as well. It replaced a slightly larger Kipling bag. This one is great. On a future sale I'll go for another color as well.

This is an almost perfect bag for me. It holds my wallet, keys, cosmetic case, tissues, lotion, small zipper pouch with odds and ends, notebook and pen, earbuds, phone, and Kindle without looking or feeling overstuffed. The horizontal shape makes it easier to find things inside, and the zipper pockets on the outside are very useful. No divider inside like the Syro, which is good - the divider is not useful. According to the descriptions, Syro is 8L and Izellah is 7L, but Izellah is a bit bigger and noticeably roomier.
