Yucky odor and flavor
I put this product in my Lentil soup. I should have read the label more carefully. This stock contains natural flavors which gives off a strange odor and flavor. Natural Flavors might be made from something natural but natural flavors are not natural when a chemist gets done with them. I usually make my stock from scratch. I you do too...don't buy this...it will ruin your soup.

Try it! So versatile!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tastes the same as though I boiled a fullChicken to make stock! It has very few ingredients that are readable and natural/organic! I made chicken & dumplings with this and not only were they great the first day but we had leftovers and day 2 was even better!

Yeast extract
This company recently started putting yeast extract into their products. I have older boxes of this product that do not contain yeast extract. This was my go to broth for years because of the exclusion of yeast extract. Unfortunately yeast extract gives me headaches. I am now forced to buy another brand. Please consider removing yeast extract from your products and going back to the old recipe. A previous loyal costumer.

I used to love KB stock. I noticed a flavor change and looked at the ingredients (that haven't changed dramatically over the last few years) and see that yeast extract is now in all of the stock. I'm so very very disappointed. I couldn't figure out why I was ill after eating the stock I have used in many recipes but found yeast extract. Ugh. Stop adding unnecessary crap yes crap to an otherwise good product. Go back to carrots onions and chicken please!!

I bought 4 cartons of this on October 28th. I opened the first carton and had no problems with it. I opened a new carton today and it smelt very sulfur-y. I opened the rest of the cartons and they all shared the sulfur-y smell that the first carton didn’t. I’m currently panicking because I have the major fear of being sick, I will not be buying anything from this brand again.

Low salt - BIG FLAVOR
We use this for so many recipes! From broccoli cheddar soup to mashed potatoes and rice, it makes a basic meal so much better. I really appreciate being able to control the amount of salt in our meals, and this really helps that without sacrificing flavor.

Great flavor and easy to use

Good chicken broth
