Q: I bought this for my 4 year old and when I tried to hook it up to turn it on it just makes a buzzing sound. Nothing else. My son was real upset so before I return it I wanted to find out if maybe it is just broken or if I’m doing something wrong.
A: Same thing here. Now I’m frantically trying to find a replacement.
submitted byGoody - 4 months agoA: I figured out you have to press a weird button. My issue is now it won’t play a song for more than 5 seconds unless twirling the volume.
submitted byKG - 4 months agoA: I bought two of these and same thing. I've changed the batteries out for fresh duracells and checked the volume. There's nothing left to troubleshoot that I can think of. Disappointing.
submitted byks - 5 months agoA: Once you take the clips off and take out of box it turns off demo mode. Once out of the box Remove the paper disc in order for it to work
submitted byChristina - 4 months agoA: You have to put it in the right place on the record. There is an outside and inside track. If it’s not placed right, this is the sound you get.

Q: Is it normal for it to only play for a few seconds? This is my second one and even after removing the paper cover from the player it only plays for a few second and then stops.
A: No, ours play the full songs.
submitted byTargetgalGA - 4 months agoA: It's in display mode. Pull the white retainer tabs out on the bottom. If you broke it out of the package, tab pieces are probably still in the holes. Get pliers to turn the tabs and pull them out.
submitted byI have the fix - 4 months agoA: When it is removed from the package you must twist the white fasteners. Once they are twisted and removed the product should come out of try-me mode. You can see the little black button in the hole. Check to see if there is any plastic from the fastener stuck in there and then remove it. If you still need help, please call our Consumer Services team at 800-432-5437, Mon.- Fri., 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. ET.
