Q: I bought this for my 4 year old and when I tried to hook it up to turn it on it just makes a buzzing sound. Nothing else. My son was real upset so before I return it I wanted to find out if maybe it is just broken or if I’m doing something wrong.

  • A: You have to put it in the right place on the record. There is an outside and inside track. If it’s not placed right, this is the sound you get.

Q: Is it normal for it to only play for a few seconds? This is my second one and even after removing the paper cover from the player it only plays for a few second and then stops.

  • A: It's in display mode. Pull the white retainer tabs out on the bottom. If you broke it out of the package, tab pieces are probably still in the holes. Get pliers to turn the tabs and pull them out.

  • A: When it is removed from the package you must twist the white fasteners. Once they are twisted and removed the product should come out of try-me mode. You can see the little black button in the hole. Check to see if there is any plastic from the fastener stuck in there and then remove it. Poor quality

Only two of the five records played music out of the box. This seems like a weird quality issue, the record player itself is clearly fine as the other records played immediately without problem. But 3 of them will not play either track on either side, the disc rotates for a while before the player switches off. We checked out was in play not demo mode and that didn't fix it.

My toddler independently pulls out this toy and loves jumping up and down and dancing to all of the included genres of music. Great gift for your music loving toddler

My 3 year old received this for Christmas and it has been such a hit. He loves changing out the songs and now can play music just like his big brother. We love it. I just wish there was an option to buy additional discs.

Needs to have other records to buy. Other than that great toy for kids to play music, be independent, and just explore. But as I said before it would be even better if they expanded the record selection.

My daughter only really likes 1 song and after that she loses interest. Sucks we can’t buy additional records and new ones aren’t compatible which add ons to environmental waste on fp’s behalf.
