Flame bulbs are amazing!!!
I've been using flame bulbs for the past 8 years They last a long while, but I've had to only replace 3 bulbs over the last 8 years. They'll start to get noticeably glitchy.

Awesome bulbs!
If that is what you are looking for, but the flame aspect is amazing. but I could imagine they could be used anytime. The black base blends well with our black light fixture.

Nice flame like action.
This bulb has a nice real flame look. I bought a box for my daughter to put in her post lanterns on her walkway.

Realistic fire effect
These bulbs have a realistic flame effect If you want the other 2 light modes, you will have to manually select it by quickly turning on and off to change modes. After being 'off' for awhile it defaults back to the 'flame' option as the 'first on' mode.
