The LEGO Technic Hot Rod Car 30735 is a fun little Technic polybag that packs a surprising amount of detail into a small build. Even though it’s compact, it still captures the classic hot rod style with a bold color scheme and oversized rear wheels that give it a sporty look. What I like: - The moving piston engine is a great mechanical feature for such a small set - Chunky rear tires give the car a realistic hot rod stance - Quick and enjoyable build that still feels like a Technic experience - Compact model that works well for display with other LEGO vehicles - Nice introduction to Technic parts and mechanisms - One of the highlights is watching the pistons move as the car rolls forward, which demonstrates a simple engine mechanism and adds an interactive element to the build. What could be improved: Since it’s a small set, the build is fairly quick. Adding a few extra pieces for details like an exhaust pipe, spoiler, or small driver area would make the model feel a bit more complete and extend the play value. Overall, this is a great little Technic set that offers a fun mechanical feature in a compact build and makes a nice addition to any LEGO vehicle collection.

This was such a wonderful Valentine's Day gift for my 5 year old Lego-loving grandson. Price was reasonable and it even has moving parts. 🙌

Such a good value and the perfect stuffer for a stocking, Easter or valentines! Not too hard for my 9 year old but hard enough to make it a fun little challenge. He also LOVED that the pistons move when the wheels turn.

I saw this, had to buy it. It's cheap, and it is to keep on my desk. The moving pistons and gearing are always satisfying. Worth it

I just bought it today.. I like hotrod .. easy to build .. and I like moving parts that’s a plus.. A++++++

absolutely adorable set, love how it has moving parts dispute being so small. easy set for any ages and didn't hurt my fingers to assemble!! (usually legos pinch my fingers at least 1 time per build 😅) very happy will be buying some more for my nephews!!
