A dear friend gave me her recipe for chocolate chip pumpkin bread. Libby's canned pumpkin worked great. It is so easy to work with and mix in the recipe. It doesn't add any extra sugar to you recipe which is so helpful. I now make sure I always have one or two cans in my pantry.

I make pumpkin pies every holiday season, and have been asked many times for my recipe. I always use Libby's 100% pure pumpkin pack. I have even done the fresh pumpkin thing. Totally not worth doing that when this product so good, easy and so available. I always keep a can of it in the pantry, just in case, for a recipe I might come across and want to try. I wouldn't use anything else.

My hubby's favorite pie is pumpkin. I always use Libby's 100% Pure Pumpkin in my pie. There have been quite a few times when my hubby will try a whole pumpkin pie from different grocery stores or will order a slice of pumpkin pie at a restaurant. Most times he will say "it doesn't taste like the ones you make." I believe it is Libby's 100% Pure Pumpkin that makes my pies taste good.

Not only do I use Libby's Pumpkin for Pies, Cookies, Rolls, & Pancakes, I have a Labrador retriever puppy and I make him Frozen Treats and Cookies because pumpkin is easy on their stomachs, and contains fiber.

I have always liked LIbby's 100% pure pumpkin but it has begun massive problem that everyone should know about. About 1/2 of the cans of pumpkin contain grit, like biting into a piece of sand but it gives way to your teeth; it is not just one bite, but throughout. The problem has been going on for many years. I first noticed it about 8 years ago and blamed eggshells, spices, and all kinds of things. I switched out everything systematically and it still was there. I definitively narrowed down the problem by testing the pumpkin by itself and CRUNCH! there it is. I googled and complaints are common. LIBBY, figure out some mechanical engineering to wash these pumpkins better! The need a power wash or abrasion. Grit is hard to clean. But, If everyone else can do it, so can you .So disappointing that you will not fix this problem OR that you don't know about it. You would have 5 stars otherwise.

I love pumpkin pie and always use Libby's. The only difference I m finding is if you use 1 large can of pumpkin puree vs. 1 small can you cut your pumpkin puree by a whole ounce! Great pie otherwise ❤️🍂🍁
