A: Hello Ginger Ninja - Thanks for your question! The Lifeline Olympic Rubber Bumper Plates are made to fit an Olympic Size bar which is 2 inches in diameter. I hope this helps!
Lot of off gassing with these plates. The sleeves do not fit snuggly on Olympic bar. You get what you pay for, as they say! $ was reasonable. Would not buy again

We are sorry for your negative experience with the weight plates. The smell you noted is common for products made with rubber and will diminish over time. We have not heard of any issues with the collars on the plates not fitting properly on Olympic bars. I bought 4 plates and I love them! They've been doing great on my heavy deadlifts and I'm rough with them. They do have a rubber smell, which I expected, but it's no big deal, goes away with use and they don't make my garage smell at all.

Nice bumper plates, but strong odor was a deal breaker. Opened one of them. it smelled up my entire house and caused headaches. researched the problem. And realized this isn’t something I can fix. returning them.
