Q: approximately how many standard tea bags can it hold? Is it strong enough that you can put two on top of each other? I understand that it opens upward, but I have duplication of tea and would like to store extra in the bottom box.

    Two different once broken is shipping

    This item arrived with a large crack in the acrylic cover, through the handle/know. they sent a replacement but the knoe and a chunk of the acrylic cover were broken off. once is a coincidence, twice is poor packaging practice, recimmend avoiding thia product by mail. The only reason this gets 2 stars instead of 1 is that you could still use it without the acrylic cover (but thats not what they are selling, and you have to break it off).

    Splinters

    Handle this with care - I got two splinters just unwrapping it from the plastic! The plastic lid slipped out of the peg for some reason, so it wasn't closing properly the first time we used it, so I'm afraid that may keep happening. There was also a huge crack in the wood on one side. So, it's pretty poorly constructed.

    Love this tea box

    I love this tea box. I drink only about 5 different types of tea, so I was able to fit all of my tea packets in the container. It matches my golden stained wood in the kitchen and it looks so smart. I would recommend buying tea where every tea bag is already in an individual paper packet to help guarantee freshness.     Too small

    It looks really cool and seems like good quality, but I had trouble fitting my tea in it. The two right sections are slightly smaller than the others and my tea packets didn't fit there. Also the last bag in each section gets stuck behind the clear part. I returned it.
