Q: How deep is each shelf? They don't look deeper than 3". I need something 5 " deep.

It is secured by only a few staples and when delivered it completely was falling apart. I’m returning it. Not worth the money at all.

Overpriced, poorly made
Arrived broken, but it was such an easy fix it didn't feel worth it to go through the returns process. I wish I did not pay full price. :( It looks nice though, and holds all/most of our spices so that is a plus. Would not recommend to a friend, though!

Bamboo Expandable Shelf
A narrow strip of bamboo was broken when I received the shelf. It was easy to glue back and I’m happy with the product. It holds a lot of “stuff”, vitamins, etc, in this case, and I’ve ordered two more for other categories.

cheaply made
Wow, talk about terribly put together. The smaller extender piece is solidly put together, but the larger one is completely separated. This was apparently both glued and nailed together. The tiny nails were in no way lined up, which means that the pieces have huge gaps and the glue has cracked. The one side is barely stuck together, and it is definitely not level. I realize this is cheap, but this is pretty poor quality, even for something cheap. If I want to use the larger piece, I'm going to have to completely take it apart to repair.
