Q: why is this not marked as lead-free? are the stains and finishes tested to be free of lead, arsenic or other toxins? specifically are the water based (not asking if considered food grade)?
A: Thank you for your interest in Lipper International Solid Bamboo Tray (item# 8865). All of our finishes are not made with any materials that would be listed as 'toxins'. Like wise, all of our products are treated with a food safe finish in addition to any sealants used. Specifically, to your question regarding Lead, none of our materials contain lead. Q: Is the bottom (underside) of the tray smooth?

Q: Are these trays stackable?
A: Thank you for your interest in Lipper International Solid Bamboo Tray (item#8865). These trays can be placed on top of each other, but are not specifically designed to be stackable. Normally for something to be stackable, one would fit into another and held in place. These trays are not made that way. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
