A: The hinge that enables it to hook onto the top of the monitor is surprisingly sturdy! It's not going to fall off unless you knock it off. Windows 7 found and loaded the driver automatically as son as I plugged it in, and it started working. But to get the controls for it, you have to download the software from http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/hd-webcam-c270/downloads

A: 1) windows automatically installs drivers, but may prompt to install logitech's camera control program which gives more settings and features. 2) I have used it with windows 10 and it works well with the built in camera app. (i have a laptop) 3) it has a hinge on the back that folds out and sits on a screen or monitor. It has some grips there to hold it in place. Works well but will fall of if jostled too much. Hope this helps

A: driver software is automatic as far as i remember... just plug it in and it worked.. does it work with win 10 im not sure i never used... comes with no adhesive... you could always get something for that yourself. it kinda just has a 90 degree bend with that part that folds to hold it pinched on the monitor.

I've only used 1080p for from 2015 and later. So, going back to 720p was a little bit annoying to do in 2026. It looks pretty sleak, only problem is that it's physical size is pretty big for modern monitors. Video quality is pretty good. Microphone quality is average, I reccomend a headset mic or independent one. It was plug n' play with Windows 11.

The image is so zoomed in it's unusable. If I clip it to the top of my monitor I would have to sit an absolute minimum of 5 feet back from it or my whole head isn't in the frame. It looks like the front piece is missing a lens but I've bought two of them now and both had this issue. The first didn't at first but I think the lens fell out and the second didn't even come with a lens. I expected better from Logitech.
