My 2 year old loves this kit! The animals were a nice addition to the ones in the full playlist and he loves playing with animals while reading Leo and Melody at the farm. The peg sequencing is also engaging for him. Lastly the book in this kit is great for 2 years old with big feelings at times. Awesome kit!

I love the addition to the animals that we got in another play kit and my son is obsessed with the wooden drop toy. We also did not have the book included here in any of our previous kits so it was a win win win for us! The quality is what you would expect from Lovevery - excellent.

The Stick drop is a great toy, both my toddler and baby can play with it. The animal toy is not engaging. The kit is too expensive for only 2 toys.

This is perfect for my 2 year old! She loves reading the book, and we talk through all the emotions from the photos in the book. She also spends a lot of time playing with the wooden pegs and animals! This is very age appropriate and versatile!

This kit was an instant hit with both of my kids. My older one showed the younger how to use the wooden peg puzzle, and she immediately figured out the animal matching game, so proud of herself! The book “Rylan Says No!” was super relatable (we’re definitely in that phase 😅) Beautiful quality, super engaging, and kept them busy way longer than I expected. Highly recommend, great for learning and sibling bonding.

We are obsessed with this mini kit! I love how the products integrate with our existing play kits…the new animals were a very welcome addition for my toddler! The quality is amazing and this book is spot on for struggles we are having!

This kit was so fun for my son and he goes back to the Size Up Wooden Peg Puzzle over and over again. I was so surprised because it reminded me of the Wooden peg drop in the Thinker kit so I thought he’d not enjoy it. However, it’s a different concept and he likes the new challenge. Also, the additional animals are adorable! My son was excited for this new addition to his animal friends.

This is such a tough age range to find meaningful and intentional gifts for! Snagged this for my almost 1.5 year old for Christmas! Can’t wait to wrap this up and put it under the tree!

Being a loyal lovevery customer, this box wasn’t anything new for my kids. A couple new animals with matching cards were like an add on for something we already have from one of the play kits. And the small to large peg drop seemed like a mash up of toys from other play kits, too. I love the book “Rylan says no”, which has a great message and is very relatable, but other than one line in the book it didn’t match the sequencing theme. As someone that has all the play kits, I wouldn’t recommend this mini kit. This mini kit would be best marketed to those who don’t subscribe to the play kits.

This isn’t a must have for us since we have the regular play kits which already included similar items. A nice alternative if you skipped some of the toddler kits!
