Any surfaces that come into contact with the Lysol Air Sanitizer Simple Fresh should be allowed to dry completely before the pet is allowed access to the treated areas. Keep pets and exotic animals away during use. Wait until dry to bring the pet back. It is recommended to cover fish tanks or remove portable enclosures from the area during product application. I am so glad I found this airfresher. I mainly use it in the bathroom. I love it because it works great to eliminate order and not just mask it. Other air fresheners will just mix with bathroom odors creating an unpleasant dirty diaper smell but not this air freshener. it actually breaks down the oder leaving a pleasant scent behind.

Glad to see an air SANITIZER available. I just received this product so this is my 1st impression is---FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! There is more to using this product properly than just shake and spray. I think it will be very useful. The reason for 4 star rating is the extra effort to FOLLOW the written instructions AND (as 1 reviewer stated) the "Simple Fresh" scent DOES smell like bug spray at first, then mellows out to more like a fresh scent. I would recommend this to a friend because of the sanitizer feature, but would caution the buyer to follow directions.

This “Fresh” scent smells like bug spray. I prefer the “White Linen” scent for a clean, fresh smell. Just decided to give this scent a try and as not a fan. Overall, the product is good. It serves its purpose well. I get this (and go through all of it) anytime someone in my household gets sick.
