Look elsewhere!
I would have to say that I was highly disappointed in this guitar set. I purchased one for my son as he is very interested in learning the guitar. It was purchased for his Christmas gift only to open it up on Christmas for it to not work at all. So we brushed it off and said “things happen.” We decided to purchase another one after having to explain to a 5 year old that he can’t play with his guitar on Christmas. Just received the second guitar only to find that it does not work either. Please find another option as these guitars are poorly made and for the price I can’t believe that they would sell something like this. BEWARE you have been warned!

A decent guitar for the price
Amazingly, this guitar is actually not too bad for a beginner. It has a decent sound, the amp is of acceptable quality for a beginner, and it actually stays in tune fairly well. You’re not going to get up on stage and play with this one but it was certainly a good investment for my 12 year old son who is just learning to play.
