The absolute most important thing to know is that because it builds vertically, the lighthouse collapses very easily during construction, which can quickly frustrate younger kids unless an adult is helping.

As a parent of four, magnetic tiles are usually my absolute best friend—they keep the crew entertained for hours and clean up in five minutes. So, when we opened up the MAGNA-TILES Lighthouse Rescue Set, the kids were instantly obsessed with the vibrant colors, the unique curved pieces, and the cool lighthouse look. What worked: * Major Fun Factor: The themed pieces are super cute and definitely got their creative gears turning right away. * Great for Teamwork: Watching them sit together and try to figure out how to stack it was a big win (at least until it tipped over!). What tested my patience: * The "TIMBER!" Effect: Vertical builds with magnetic tiles are notoriously tricky, and this lighthouse is no exception. Pretty cool set to make a lighthouse

It is easy to put together even though it has zero directions, which my 5 year old found unfair. I helped showed her how to use the picture on box to make the lighthouse. It is a great size. I thought it would be smaller size but it’s not.

Fun set for the summer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kiddo loved this immediately. "Mom, there's a person!! And the hat comes off." I showed him the picture on the box but he, of course, did his own thing. The magnets are okay, sometimes you have to wiggle or flip the piece to get it to connect. The pieces are fun to play with and are an okay amount for the one set. He combined them with his other sets as soon as I let him. The box is thin-ish cardboard and has a plastic tray inside that the pieces were set in. I won't be keeping it. Overall, a fun little set to play with.

An awesome toy for young children

There is a complete set that can configure at least four ways, more if you build away from the pictures on the box. Quality pieces that have strong magnets and will last for years to come. Wr play with this set multiple times a day. It is perfect for big and little hands alike. The magnets are super sturdy because like I stated he crashes his cars into the lighthouse and it is perfectly undamaged. And they have a smooth surface which makes cleaning easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this Magna Tiles Lighthouse Rescue 26 Piece Set, and thus us really interesting thing! This set is including a few different shapes beautiful bright tiles, and every of them has magnets in them. It is really exiting to build something using them! The package has 3 examples of what is possible to build using those tiles, but it is possible to create much more interesting things, just to turn on your imagination. The package has compact storage for tiles, so it is comfortable to keep them in order, and they will never be lost. ImI think this is interesting thing and for children, and for adults.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very very creative way of attaching the proper pieces to other ones. Created all 3 & it’s so cute! Love the design characters & boat it comes with. My 3 year old is enjoying herself. Big sister assisted her in making it. You definitely have to build it on a stable base to hold everything up! Very easy to carry around & it’s fun! She also tells me which pieces are shapes such as the square rectangle & triangle.

Open ended creative toys are what we look for, as those stand the test of time best and magnatiles hits the spot. We were so excited to add this unique set to our collection! Quality is top notch as usual, and it’s a safe toy. The pictures on the box are easy models to follow without complicated instructions, my 4 year old was able to construct the set and play with it.
