Matchbox Action Drivers Construction Playset

Purchased this on sale for my cars-loving son. He was so excited when he unwrapped it and couldn’t stop asking to attach it to his existing play sets! We put it together and he enjoyed hours of playing with the crane, garage, and different features. Such a good buy for him!

Great gift and loved the toy.

My nephew loves these, have bought everyone. Wish they would make a school with a school bus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very fun playset. My kids have spent a lot of time playing with it. It has lots of different features to use like the platform you can hook to the rotating crane, which makes sounds and moves around, the portable toilet and the car lift. It has different levels, you can move gates, repair a road and play with the wrecking ball. Fun for one child or multiple. It’s a decent size and can connect to other Matchbox playsets which is a plus. This set took me a bit longer to put together and that was mainly because of all the stickers I had to attach. It comes apart easily and after much use I can set it up pretty fast now. Awesome set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that there is no plastic packaging and that is easy to put together. I read the directions outloud and my 8 year old put it together. My kids enjoy playing with this. There is plenty of moving parts and sounds to keep it fun. My only suggestion is making it a bit wider so the car can get on the second level easier from the ramp.

The various levels of the piece and variety of different things you can play with on it are great. Also, the fact that it can connect to other sets just opens the door for amazing creative play.

I love how easy it was to put together, the instructions were very clear. I love how it’s portable and can be taken on trips. The noises the crane makes really adds to this toy and makes it interactive.

My son has an entire table covered in pieces and it was nice to add the construction set to the whole thing. Crane piece is fun and the sound effects get a good response every time. Definitely a good addition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves matcbox toys and this did not disappoint. It was pretty easy to asssemble. It does take up a good amount of space however. My son can play with this for hours as you can attach other matchbox sets to this as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grankids fought over who got to play with this one. The sound affects are great they thought it was very funny to hoist the outhouse up to the top level. Enjoyed by grandson and granddaughters. They played with it non stop for over 2 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This construction set is really sweet! There is so many diffent features and cool lottle hidden features like the port-o-portty lol. Its pretty easy to assemble the stickers are tough to place but add that extra detail for sure.

We kept it to ourselves for a few minutes before letting the them have it. They love the ability to put the top floor on and off. The phrases gave me a chuckle. This is our first matchbox set, and I can't wait to add more.

He loves that there are so many different things this toy can do. The crane is super fun and the noises are engaging. He thinks the potty is hilarious too! I bought more matchbox track and we’re going to connect them because he loves this so much.

It required assembly, but he also enjoys that part. He likes the different ways you can play with the set and "finish building" the parking garage with the crane. This set is interactive and fun! The only downfall, from a parent perspective, is that the sounds are a little too loud and it doesn't have an on/off switch for the sounds. But overall, he enjoys it and I think he'll get a lot of play out of it.

It was truly a frustration free packaging. I cannot express how well this product was packaged! The next great thing, was my 6 year old was able to assemble this playset practically by himself! He has spent hours playing with this toy. It has so many features! He thought the port a potty was hilarious! Also, this playset allows you to build the set using the crane! It is a great toy! He has already asked for more action driver sets to add to his "city." Great product! I hope to see more built like this! The only thing I would change would be to include more vehicles in the set.

Sound effects are super cool. My only dislike is I have to put it back together because as the boys played with the construction site toy it easily came apart as they moved it across the floor.

The phrases the construction trucks/workers say are great and only add to the imaginative play. The crane moves the portapotty and part of the road, and some of the matchbox trucks we already had. It connects easily with other city sets and roads. In no time we had a whole city built! Highly recommend this is any matchbox collector.
