We love it!

Our son hasn't transitioned to this bed yet, but so far we are very happy with it. It took a while to assemble, and there were a few damaged pieces, which is the reasoning for 4 instead of 5 stars. Overall we're happy with it!

Needs some tweaks, unstable

After using this bed 9 months, we have sort of worked out all the pros and cons of this one. The biggest issue is the wobble. The side opposite the stairs is just two long legs. Tightening all the bolts would help a bit, but that stopped working. The design could really benefit from at least a piece going from one leg to the other to stabilize it. My husband had to put in a cross beam to stabilize the bed because it started to feel unsafe, and now it's solid. All in all this is a minor fix for us but I know for others this might be hard.

kind of upset with the assembly.

We love the bed but it wasn't fully painted. it did come with all kinds of digs in it. There was pieces 2 wholes I could not use because the drill bit used to make holes was stuck in on of them. and then there was another whole that wasn't fully drilled. took me 2 days to put together because of all the mishaps on assembly.

Wobbly, but strong.

This took a really long time to assemble, about 5 hours. The wood feels strong, but the whole bed is pretty wobbly which is strange, however, my husband or I sit up there with our 4 year old and it does feel safe. We used an 8"" mattress with a piece of ply underneath so the mattress doesn't mush through the slats, you could also buy a bunkie board if you don't have plywood.

Great low loft for little kids!

This is pretty great for a small room. The steps make it a lot easier to handle for younger kids, and the height is very manageable. My daughter thinks this is the perfect step up from her toddler bed. And not only that, it's also a great play space - both up top and below! It was a bit tricky for the task rabbit to put together (particularly the steps) but it is sturdy and looks great!

Adorable bed, mixed quality, long assembly

Loving this new bed for our 4 year old - it is perfect for her to get onto, and play under. That said, be prepared for a 4-5 hour assembly time, SO MANY PIECES. Additionally, we were a little disappointed by the quality of how pieces are cut and line up - small spaces, gaps, misaligned boards etc. Overall, happy with the purchase and expect it will last a while!

We were very pleased with

We were very pleased with this bed. The wood is solid and pieces were mostly straight. The design is pretty good. Only some issues with getting the stairs lined up with the rest of the bed to attach the L brackets, and we both felt there should have been a long bolt at the top of the rails to keep the top rail on either side tight; it kept coming loose from the head & foot board as we had to lift/reposition the bed as we worked. Instructions do not mention but some holes are not pre-drilled for screws, related to the stairs. We know this is due to it being able to go on either side of the bed frame, but it made things difficult and we had to pre-drill many holes even when trying to use a power drill to screw things together. Finally, the steps are very slippery and we plan to put no-slip strips over them. They also could have used an open shelf under the 2nd step, at least accessible from the underloft -this seems like such a waste of storage space. We chose not to put the thin cover on the underloft side to block the 1 shelf they did make, as this is a great spot to use when kiddo is underneath the bed playing. FYI, a twin 10in mattress fits under there fine, too. We have it as backup to our 7yo being too afraid to sleep "up high". :-)

This took about 4 hours to build by one person. Quite a few holes weren’t pre-drilled quite right, with adjustments I was able to get the loft bed together. It’s cute and seems solid.

Great bed for adding extra space in a small bedroom

Overall we love the quality material and style of this loft bed. It was a Christmas gift for our 5 year old son. We did have an issue with a damaged side rail making the bed unusable for the first 2 weeks until the replacement parts arrived. It took longer than I expected because of the warehouse’s holiday closures. Now that our son has been using the bed for almost a month, we are very happy with its functionality and style. We added the under-bed curtain and bunk shelf and love the complete set… May be adding the desk that stows away under the bed at a later time.

2 stars because the wood does seem good. However, I have put a LOT of furniture/kids furniture together, and this is a mess. The instructions are horrible. Depending on ladder placement, Instead of having separate instructions, you have to skip some pages and can be confusing. Hardware isn't labeled well and is all just thrown in bags together. I spent 10 minutes just organizing hardware. I'm definitely mechanically inclined, but this project takes over 4 hours to complete. Do not recommend.

The loft bed I purchased

The loft bed I purchased for my grandson is wonderful. It took longer to arrive than expected, but was worth the wait. It was easy to assemble and he loves sleeping in his bed now!

You get what youe pay for

We have had the bed for a week and so far the bed has not been used and is partially assembled due to the following reasons: The railing for the stairs were cracked on arrival and we are still waiting for a response on resolution. The stair have not been attached to the bed. Also the Instructions were not completely comprehensive in their direction. The threaded holes had debris in it and some of the threaded holes were crooked and the dowels were too long, which made building this bed rather challenging. So far we are not impressed with this product

Great design and quality

We've been using our bed for about half a year now and we love it! My 3 year old and 5 year old can easily and safely get up and down, the bed is comfy, and they love playing underneath. Everything is holding up well and I appreciate the quality.

Lofty yet compact

Great product that is very well made. The bed is sturdy a the pine used is first rate. My grand daughter loves this bed. Her first comment when she saw the box was “Why isn’t it assembled yet? Assembly instructions were spot on. Yes, two persons definitely make assembly easier. Three company keeps you informed on shipping and delivery.

Great for the price!

Overall this was a great purchase. Assembly was pretty straightforward, we purchased 2 so breezed through the second one!!! My girls are 6 and 8 and have several years to enjoy these beds. After having for a couple of months I will need to tighten some of the screws as the beds is a little wiggly if they get too rowdy/wiggly in bed. Our girls share a small room so these were perfect to reorganize their space. The stairs are great opposed to the ladders that usually come with lofts or bunk beds!!!
