[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon first taste you can’t tell that it’s not whole milk, tastes fresh and flavorful. I’ve had it with cereal, cream of wheat and just a cold glass by itself and would definitely try again.

It’s not thick and is just as smooth and creamy as regular whole milk can be. I’ve used this milk to make milkshakes and they come out very smooth. I feel that the milk stayed fresh all the way into the expiration date, so no complaints there. Its packaging is super easy to spot in the store and is also carried in other sizes, but I feel like it stays fresh enough to buy by the gallon. It’s 2% Reduced-Fat milk, so it’s easy to include in my diet and contributes to my health goals. I would definitely buy this over the store brand, even on taste alone.

It has just the right balance—not too heavy but still rich enough to enjoy on its own or in coffee. The gallon size was perfect for my family and the packaging must use quality materials because the milk didn’t spoil quickly the way some dairy products do when they’re packaged in poor quality materials.

I hadn’t bought it in a while however because I kept choosing cheaper options but this made me realize cheaper doesn’t mean better. The taste of the Mayfield 2% was so cream and rich. Taste was fantastic. Smooth texture and fresh and lasted long. I appreciate it is a drink I can trust for my kids.

I’m 33 and tend to lean more toward non-dairy alternatives, so this was a little outside my norm. The milk itself tasted super fresh and clean. It wasn’t too heavy like whole milk can be, but it also didn’t feel watered down like skim sometimes does. It’s kind of that happy middle ground, which I think a lot of people who actually drink milk regularly would appreciate. I tried it in my coffee first, and it blended in really smoothly. It added a nice little creaminess without completely changing the flavor. I also poured a small glass just to sip on its own. It was fine, but I can’t say it made me want to suddenly start drinking milk every day. For me, it’s just not something I crave. That said, I did use it in pancakes one morning and it worked perfectly—light, fluffy, and no weird aftertaste. Overall, I’d give it three stars. There’s nothing wrong with it at all—it’s fresh, versatile, and exactly what you’d expect from a standard milk. I just personally don’t drink milk enough to buy it often. But if you’re someone who keeps milk in the fridge all the time, I think this would be a solid choice.
